4 stars. I really loved this book because I thought I was Addie. When her Mom left I felt like I wanted to help Addie. I also thought that it wasn't really confusing. I still want to know how is she related to her grandfather. I am going to read it again because I loved it and to see how she is related to her grandpa.

This story helped me understand that what i've got is not as bad as some others have it. Addie is brave and strong. I cried, laughed, and smiled at this book. I loved it and it taught me how to be a great and strong person. It was the best book i have read in a long time. 5 stars.
